Rogers' impressive hammer throw performance saw her shatter her personal best by nearly two meters, achieving an astonishing 80.88 meters. This remarkable feat propelled her to second place on the all-time list, narrowly trailing Poland's world record holder Anita Włodarczyk, who set a benchmark of 82.98 meters nine years ago.
Rogers further showcased her dominance with additional throws of 78.27 meters and 79.11 meters, demonstrating her exceptional skill and consistency. Meanwhile, China secured the silver and bronze medals through Zhao Jie (77.60 meters, a personal best) and Zhang Jiale (77.10 meters), respectively.
