MotoGP CEO Hails French Grand Prix's Success

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, the rights holder of MotoGP, expressed his pride in the French Grand Prix's contribution to France's rich motorsport heritage. “France already has an incredible legacy in motorsport, and we're proud that our French Grand Prix has added to that at the same time as attracting a huge new wave of fans to the event, area and to the sport itself,” Ezpeleta stated.

Record-Breaking Attendance and Anticipation for 2024 Race

The French Grand Prix has proven to be a resounding success, with a record-breaking attendance of 297,471 fans at Le Mans last year. This year's race, scheduled from May 9-11, will be the sixth round of the championship. The 2024 race was won by Jorge Martin, who has yet to start a race this season with his new team Aprilia due to injuries sustained during pre-season testing.
