Television Continental (TVC), a prominent Nigerian television station, has officially opened a state-of-the-art studio in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos. This milestone was announced by Mrs. Victoria Ajayi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TVC Communications, during the unveiling ceremony on Thursday, November 28.

The new studio represents a significant milestone in TVC's journey, following the relocation from its former site in Ikosi Ketu, Lagos. The previous studio suffered severe damage during the #EndSARS protests in October 2020, with several facilities and equipment worth millions of naira being destroyed.

In the aftermath of the protests, TVC made a commitment to construct a larger and more advanced studio, prioritizing the retention of all jobs. This promise has now been fulfilled, marking a new chapter in the station's history.

The newly inaugurated, multi-storey studio complex at Eko Atlantic serves as the company's corporate headquarters, marking the fulfillment of TVC's promise to rebuild and upgrade its facilities. The unveiling ceremony was attended by prominent figures from Nigeria's media and marketing sectors, including Charles Ebuebu, Director General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

The launch of TVC's new studios cements its position within the thriving community at Eko Atlantic City. This rapidly developing hub boasts over eight completed towers, with more than 20 additional structures currently under construction. As part of this vibrant ecosystem, TVC is poised to contribute to the city's growth and dynamism.

TVC's state-of-the-art digital studios, a first in Nigeria and the wider subregion, will accommodate several stations, including TVC News, TVC Entertainment, Max FM Radio, and the newly launched Yanga FM, a pidgin-speaking radio station. This integrated broadcasting complex will enable TVC to expand its reach and offerings, solidifying its position as a leading media organization in Nigeria.

Mrs. Victoria Ajayi, CEO of TVC Communications, expressed her vision for the company's future, stating that TVC is now well-positioned to take the lead in digital broadcasting in Nigeria. This ambitious goal is expected to propel the station to new heights in the Nigerian media landscape.

Ajayi also extended an invitation to potential advertisers, encouraging them to leverage the state-of-the-art studios and high-quality programming to reach a wider audience. By partnering with TVC, advertisers can tap into the station's expanded reach and engagement, ultimately amplifying their brand's message.
