Elon Musk to Donate $45M Monthly to Trump’s Super PAC — Reports
Elon Musk will give the Trump campaign a monthly donation of $45 million...
Former President Donald Trump is running for president again in the 2024 US election. Tech billionaire Elon Musk has endorsed Trump, and reports suggest he may donate $45 million monthly to a super PAC supporting Trump's campaign. Trump has announced James David Vance as his vice presidential running mate, a choice Musk has praised.
Following the 78-year-old politician's unsuccessful murder attempt on Saturday, July 13, Musk officially endorsed Trump, saying, “I fully endorse President Trump and wish him a speedy recovery.”
According to reports, Musk is beginning to show more support for the Republican contender. Additionally, the wealthy businessman is rumored to have pledged a monthly donation of $45 million to America PAC, a recently formed super political action committee.
Palantir co-founder Joe Lonsdale, Kelly Craft, the former US ambassador to Canada, and bitcoin investors Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss are among the well-known supporters of the committee, which backs Trump's presidential campaign.
Campaign laws limit the amount of money each individual can donate to a politician at $3,000. Rich contributors, however, can take advantage of flaws in the campaign financing system by funding political action committees (PACS), which have the indirect ability to support candidates.
Remember that Trump unveiled 39-year-old political rookie James David Vance as his vice presidential running partner for the forthcoming presidential contest on Monday, July 15.
Musk highlighted that the choice of the two echoes victory and hailed it as an amazing choice.
