Lagos Gas Explosion Claims Three Lives and Injures One

A gas cylinder explosion in the Lekki neighborhood of Lagos State on Tuesday resulted in the confirmation of at least three deaths.

Margaret Adeseye, the director/chief executive officer of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service (LSFRS), acknowledged the occurrence and stated that she received a distress call at approximately 15:34 hours indicating that the incident had taken place on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.

She blamed improper management of the gas cylinder for the explosion.
