Police Nab 40-Year-Old Woman Over Alleged Kidnap Of 3 Kids In Lagos

A 40-year-old woman in Lagos is apprehended for allegedly kidnapping three children

The Lagos State Police Command has detained a person they believe to be a kidnapper, in Lagos' Ijegun neighborhood.

Following a distress call from the school's headmaster, who stated that three pupils had been kidnapped on school grounds by unknown individuals, a forty-year-old lady remained unidentified until her arrest on Monday.

Information surfaced that the suspects parked their functioning motorcycles near the school and waited for additional members to enter the building in order to capture their targets.

The police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the development over the phone with Channels Television on Tuesday. He stated that the children were rescued and that the perpetrators were pursued aggressively before one of them was taken into custody.
