My Very Close Female Friend Is Bobrisky — Yul Edochic Says
The transgender actor Bobrisky is addressed as a female by Yul Edochie, a Nigerian actor.
The social media star was referred to by Edochie as “my person” in an interview.
“I address her as she because that is what she wants,” the actor remarked. The actor also mentioned how much he enjoys making “my people happy.”
“Bobrisky na my padi oh but I don't know if the things that she does are real,” he replied.
“But I will be honest, she is my person and we are very very close. For me, I address her as she. The reason is because I love to make people happy.
“If you come out and say your name is no longer John it's Yul, if that's what makes you happy, then I don't have to tell you to do something different. What will I gain?
“I address her as she because that is what she wants. If she comes out tomorrow to say she is no longer Bobrisky and that she is not doing again, then I will address her as anything that makes her happy.
“There was a time she said she did BBI. and she was away for some time. I even wished her a quick recovery because I want to see her do her thing,” Yul Edochie said.
Bobrisky has garnered media attention multiple times for her assertion that she is the first transgender person in Nigeria.
She had previously acknowledged chopping off her genitalia. She posted graphic images of her recently acquired breasts on Instagram in January.
In 2020, the social media star disclosed that, after 25 years of being a man, she had chosen to cross-dress in order to make ends meet.
Bobrisky also discussed a few benefits she derives from being a “woman” in September 2021.
