If it were to be a South African or an American show, previous winners of BBNaija wouldn't have won the show. Nigerians aren't ready for reality TV Reality TV star, Pere.

Pere Egbi, star of Big Brother Reality Show, has stated that he believes previous winners of the show did not deserve their prizes.

He implied that Nigerian viewers voted more on feelings than logic and that the results would have been different if the show had been set in America or South Africa. said that he would turn down the chance to return to the show, even though he had appeared in two of the seasons.

While describing his time in the Big Brother Naija house as a mixed experience, he said in an interview with the most recent episode of Celebrity Quickies that he thinks Nigerians are unprepared for reality TV.

Pere called Nigerian audiences narrow-minded in comparison to audiences in other nations, criticizing their voting habits. He declared: “My experience in the Big Brother Naija house was a rollercoaster. I had different encounters with different people, experiences that gave me something. Overall, it was good.

“But if I was asked to go back in the [BBNaija] House again, I would not. Simply because I feel Nigerians are not ready for reality TV. A bunch of Nigerians who actually vote for these guys in these shows in Nigeria, especially, Big Brother, are just one-track minded. I'm being honest, if this was a South African or an American show, I don't think the people who won will win.”
