Economic Hardship: BUA Group Announces 50% Salary Increase For Workers
The Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has announced a 50% salary increase for all staff members.

All employees' salaries will increase by 50%, according to a statement made by Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA Group.
BUA's Head of Human Resources, Mr. Mohammed Wali, signed an internal memo on Sunday in Lagos that conveyed the decision.
According to the memo, Rabiu emphasized that the purpose of the salary adjustment is to mitigate the economic difficulties facing the nation.
The increase will take effect on February 1, 2024, and it will affect both permanent and non-permanent employees.
It said, “Sequel to the above development, the Human Resources and Finance departments are processing the increase to ensure that it is captured in the February 2024 payroll.
“It is hoped that with this magnanimous gesture, we will be more committed to our duties and put in our very best to justify the confidence reposed in us.”
