Father Demands Justice After 10-year-old Son Was Assaulted In A School In U.K [VIDEO]
Nigerian father demands justice after his 10-year-old son's school teacher in the United Kingdom assaulted him, leading to his suspension
A Nigerian family is suing for justice after a staff member at a primary school in north London shoved and hit their 10-year-old son multiple times.
Victoria Azubuike posted on Tik Tok that she had gone to visit her aunt after realizing the children were at home. It was then that she learned the 10-year-old boy at Christ The King Catholic Primary School in Islington had been suspended after a teacher had punched him in the chest and dragged him to the wall for standing on the wrong stairs. She disclosed that after the alleged incident, the victim complained of chest pains, necessitating the family to visit Accident & Emergency (A&E).
The incident was confirmed by Islimgtom Council on X, formerly known as Twitter: “We are aware of these reports and are treating them with seriousness. The school and I are collaborating on the investigation.” The school declared that one of the staff members has been suspended.
The incident occurred on November 10 while the boy's father was telling The Standard that his son was in a school hallway. “There was an incident that was happening in the playground involving another pupil getting into trouble, so he was looking at what was going on in the playground,” he stated. He was suddenly knocked off balance by a powerful push, and it came from [a staff member]—an adult.
“He turned around and said 'don't touch me, and then she pushed him again and then this time confined him to a space - against a wall or frame or something, and started h#tting [him] back and forth-neck, chest area, and stuff. He was trying to fend her off to stop.”
According to the father, his son's suspension was subsequently lifted following the incident. The Standard obtained a copy of the boy's suspension letter, which was given to his mother at pick-up time and stated that the child had been placed on leave for three days “for an act of aggression towards a member of staff.”
The boy “injured a member of staff today in the playground,” according to the letter, which is dated November 10. "He struck her multiple times, breaking and removing her spectacles. And he plucked out a clump of her hair. The employee needed first aid, and the incident has upset them greatly.”
According to her write-up on TikTok;
“I can't believe I'm even writing these words, on Sunday I went to visit my Aunty and saw her kids were at home, I asked why and she explained her 10 years old was di gged to the wall and p ched by one of his teachers multiple times in the middle of the playground for all the other kids to see because he was standing on the wrong stairs at Christ The King R.C Primary School in Islington, London!
“The 10 year old had to go to A&E immediately after reporting severe pins across his chest and back areas.
“They initially suspected the 10 year old without any investigation due to what the teacher had said. Until one of the supply teachers. who was on duty and in the playground reported the incident and shared his own version confirmed the exact version of the 10 year old, which was when the school took the necessary action to remove the suspension whilst several children went home to tell their parents the exact same version of what they had seen, and the parents who knew my Aunty personally contacted her immediately.
“For the last three weeks 3 of her children who attended the school have been at home whilst she have been looking for a new school. Whilst the teacher is still on the school premises and no answers have been given to the family.
“The three children who once went all to the same school have now been divided, with two going 2 one school and 1 going to another primary school making unnecessary and a difficult school run for my Anuty.
“Schools should be a place of safety for our children, not parents in FEAR that unthinkable instances like this could EVER happen.
“We're calling for answers from @Metropolitan Police UK @Mayor of London @Ofsted every authority who cares for the safety of children for immediate answers, no child should ever experience something like this in their childhood.”
