Actress Keke Palmer requests full custody of their baby and files a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend due to emotional and physical abuse.

The 30-year-old actress Keke Palmer is requesting protection from her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, citing emotional and physical abuse.

As reported by US Weekly, Keke requested sole legal and physical custody of their 8-month-old son, Leadis "Leo," along with the filing of a temporary restraining order in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Palmer accused Jackson of "many instances of physical violence" against her, including "destroying her personal property," "throwing her belongings into the street," "throwing her car keys to prevent her from driving away," "hitting her in front of their son," "spewing profanities about her to their son," "threatening to kill himself with a gun if she left him," "harassment," and "other physical and emotional abuse," according to the court documents obtained by Page Six.

Keke Palmer said she had security footage from as recently as Nov. 5 that purportedly shows her ex "trespassed into her home without her knowledge or consent, threatened her, then physically attacked her- lunging for her neck, striking her, throwing her over the couch and steeling her phone when she told him she was going to call the police." The couple reportedly officially broke up last month after more than two years together.

She desires that he finish a 52-week behavioral treatment program. The physical and emotional abuse Palmer said Jackson—who also goes by Darius Daulton—inflicted on her during their relationship, which she said started in June 2021, was the main reason their relationship "finally ended for good" in early October.

"It is because of our son, Leo, that I was finally able to end my relationship with Darius once and for all and escape the abyse," she wrote. "Leo is the most important thing in the entire world to me; he needs and deserves to be safe and grow up in an environment free from violence."

She added, "Unfortunately, ending my relationship with Darius has not ended his abuse - if anything, he is even more unhinged, volatile and dangerous to both me and our son."

Following Jackson's remarks regarding Palmer's outfit during an Usher concert, there had been months of conjecture about her and his relationship status. This ended with Palmer's filing. Palmer wore a sheer black polka-dot cover-up over a black bodysuit in the pictures from their trip to Sin City.

The statement, "It's the outfit tho... you a mom," was posted by Jackson on X (previously Twitter) in July. Jackson reaffirmed his position after receiving criticism online and then deleted his social media accounts. "We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn't want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is," he stated at the time. "My family and I are represented by this. I have certain standards and principles for my beliefs. I give it a break."
