Staff Members Find A Woman's Body In The Freezer At A Restaurant

The body of a fellow female employee was found inside a freezer by workers at a restaurant in Louisiana, US.

The startled workers found the body on Thursday about 6 o'clock, according to the police.

The victim's identity and the cause of death will be known once a coroner's autopsy is completed, according to officials.

Her death's cause has not yet been confirmed, according to Captain Leland Laseter of the New Iberia Police Department.

An employee found the deceased female inside the cooler, according to Laseter, who also revealed this to local news outlets.

"So it was an employee that discovered the female deceased inside the cooler, (and) the deceased is an employee of the restaurant," he said.

Even though the death appeared strange, the police chief continued, an accident might not be completely ruled out.
