SAUDI PRO LEAGUE: AL NASSR BREAKS HIS SILENCE After Being 'Cheated' Out Of A Contract TO SIGN CRISTIANO RONALDO

Al-Nassr have denied reports that the club's president, Musalli Al- Muammar, felt "cheated" by Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Saudi Arabia.

This comes after Ronaldo's erratic start to life in the Middle East, where he has 11 goals in 14 outings.

The Portugal skipper has been unable to lead his team to the Pro League title while also suffering humiliating setbacks in cup play.

Quotes claimed to Al-Muammar have been making the rounds on social media, but Al-Nassr insists they are completely fabricated.

Walid Al- Muhaidib, the club's communications adviser, informed the EFE news agency: "The talk in the Spanish press that we cheated on the Ronaldo deal, based on the Arabia News 50 website, is false and incorrect. The press came up with his joke and thought it was true."
