Romano Updates On The New Chelsea Boss
Mauricio Pochettino, who may take over as Chelsea's manager in the near future, has agreed to all the terms of a lengthy contract with the West London club.
Football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano made this known.
Over the course of Saturday night, Romano tweeted this.
"Chelsea is now set to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as new head coach, here we go! Full agreement in place as expected," He tweeted.
"Pochettino has accepted all conditions of the long-term deal [with Chelsea] it [the deal] will be signed and completed soon after negotiations very advanced since April."
Pochettino has previously served as a head coach for teams like Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine is anticipated to lead Chelsea the following year.
Meanwhile, Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, was just fired. Frank Lampard was then named caretaker manager, and he will oversee the first squad through the remainder of the current 2022–23 season.
