Mbang, An Emeritus Methodist Priest, Passes Away At Age 86
Sunday Mbang, a former prelate of the Nigerian Methodist Church, is said to have passed away at the age of 86.
It should be remembered that Mbag was born on August 26, 1936, in the Nigerian state of Akwa Ibom's Idua Eket Local Government Area.
As at the time this news was filed, the specifics of his passing were still unknown, but a family source confirmed that the clergyman passed away on Tuesday night in his sleep following a brief illness.
Sunday Mbang was also the National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for a time during his life.
He served for a long time as the Vice and then the Chairperson of the World Methodist Council in addition to being the Co-Chairman of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council.
