MAN DETAINED FOR ABUSING HIS SON WHO IS UNABLE TO RECITE THE QURAN

A man was detained by the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) after he injured his kid due to his incapacity to recite the Holy Quran.

Joke Ladenegan-Oginni, the spokesperson, declared that the father had been arrested at the Meiran Police Division.

A guy who injured his son because he couldn't recite the Holy Quran was detained by the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA).

"The boy has haematuria (blood in urine), two episodes of loss of consciousness, bleeding from the ears and nostrils," she said

The child is receiving medical attention facilitated by the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Primary Health Care Board.

Ladenegan-Oginni urged residents to report all cases of abuse, assault and sexual violence against persons to the agency.
