"Igbos Must Be Ready For The Worst; We Won't Be In Opposition" - Ohanaeze

Following the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo socio-cultural organization has encouraged Igbos to be mentally prepared for the worst.

This came as the organization praised Obi for his efforts in getting an Igbo man elected president of Nigeria.

At the tribunal, Obi is currently contesting Bola Tinubu's election victory.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, the LP presidential candidate placed third in the 2023 presidential election.

Obi had maintained his victory in the 2023 presidential election notwithstanding the results announced by INEC.

Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the secretary general of Ohanaeze, said Obi should be applauded for his efforts thus far.

However, Isiguzoro pointed out that Igbos are not yet prepared to join the political parties in opposition.
