IF GIVEN THE CHANCE, I WILL RETURN TO THE BIG BROTHER AFRICA HOUSE - TAYO FANIRAN
Tayo Faniran, a former Big Brother Africa Reality TV star, has stated that he will return to the show if given the chance.
He mentioned this in a recent interview with Channels TV, when he highlighted his involvement in the feisty crime thriller "Gangs of Lagos."
In the film, Faniran played Ninalowo, a vicious but kind-hearted criminal.
He claims that 'Gangs Of Lagos' was his second break after Big Brother Africa.
He said, "While I was waiting for a second chance or maybe another time I will have such a breakthrough like Big Brother Africa, you know it [BBA] was massive. I thought maybe Big Brother Africa will happen again, like maybe Big Brother Africa All-stars. I was hoping if it does happen, definitely I'm sure people will want me on it.
"So, I still maintain that controversial part, you get what I'm saying. But God has given me a new life. Since 'Gangs Of Lagos' came, I don't care if Big Brother Africa never happens again or All-stars or whatever. God had given me what I wanted. And right now, I'm not sad. I can testify that that has to happen for me to get to where I'm now."
"Big Brother Africa, definitely I will do it again. I know what it means to be on the TV for just a few seconds. So, imagine being on TV for like 90 days. If I get that opportunity now, I'd definitely like trailer loads of talent that I want to come and sell or market to the world."
The reality star revealed that he did not audition for his part in 'Gangs Of Lagos.'
He stated that the producer, Jade Osiberu, sent him the script and asked him to portray the role, which he did.
