UCL: "WE COULDN'T KEEP HIM UNDER CONTROL" - ANCELOTTI NAMES CHELSEA MAN WHO CAUSED PROBLEMS FOR REAL MADRID

Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has conceded that his team struggled to deal with Chelsea's N'Golo Kante.

Despite this, the La Liga giants defeated the Blues in front of Stamford Bridge supporters to go to the competition's semi-finals on Tuesday.

They had beaten Frank Lampard's team 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu the week before, but the Blues came out firing in the second half and should have seized the lead after Kante and Marc Cucurella squandered two wonderful chances.

In the second half, Real Madrid came back stronger, with Rodrygo scoring a brace to hush the Stamford Bridge fans.

"I think that we suffered the position of Kante, that wasn't right," Ancelotti said after the game.

"Camavinga was used to put pressure on Reece James on the left and we had difficulty controlling the position of Kante..."
