LAUTECH PROHIBITS STUDENTS FROM DRIVING TO CAMPUS

The administration of Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has prohibited students from driving or bringing cars to campus.

This was stated in a memo issued by the institution's Registrar, Kayode Ogunleye, on Wednesday.

According to a memo, the institution also prohibited staff and students from driving colored vehicles and forced new drivers to display learner permits on their vehicles.

"Vehicles owned by students are hereby banned from entering the university campus. Vehicles with no registration numbers are no longer allowed on campus. Roadside parking of vehicles should stop forthwith," part of the memo read.
