JULIUS BERGER TESTS STREETLIGHTS ON THE SECOND NIGER BRIDGE
Following the activation of the streetlights, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, the construction firm in charge of the Second Niger Bridge, conducted a test run of the bridge's illumination.
According to Babatunde Fashola, former governor of Lagos State and Minister of Works and Housing, the bridge, which is nearing completion, will soon be commissioned and open to vehicular traffic.
The federal government's Second Niger Bridge project is being managed by the federal ministry of works and housing in collaboration with the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA).
The bridge's construction began in September 2018.
The bridge connects Asaba, Delta state, to Ozubulu and Ogbaru, Anambra state.
