PASTOR ARRESTED FOR DEFILING AND IMPREGNATING THE 12-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER

Pastor arrested for defiling and impregnating the 12-year-old daughter of a church member who sought deliverance from him

Pastor Michael Abiodun, 48, of "The Light House Gospel Church" Oluwo, Owode Egba, has been arrested by men from the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly defiling and impregnating the 12-year-old daughter of a member of his church.

According to reports, the suspect was apprehended after Owode Egba divisional headquarters received information that the victim's mother joined the church as a result of a spiritual problem that resulted in the deaths of two of her daughters.

The Culprit

Upon the information, the DPO Owode Egba division, CSP Olasunkanmi Popoola, detailed his detectives to the scene where the randy Pastor was promptly arrested. On interrogation, he confessed to the crime but blamed it on the devil. He further confessed to being the one that disvirgined the victim, a JSS 2 student.

The mother of the victim explained to the police that she didn't know her daughter was pregnant until seven months after. The victim, who was delivered of a baby three months ago informed the police that she was threatened by the Pastor with a dire consequence if she informed anybody about what had transpired between them, and that was the reason she didn't tell her mother.

Following the information, CSP Olasunkanmi Popoola, DPO Owode Egba division, dispatched his detectives to the scene, where the randy Pastor was promptly apprehended. During questioning, he admitted to the crime but blamed it on the devil. He also admitted to being the one who disvirgined the victim, a JSS 2 student.

The victim's mother told police that she didn't realize her daughter was pregnant until seven months later. The victim, who gave birth three months ago, told police that the Pastor threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone about what had happened between them, which is why she didn't tell her mother.
