A STAR IS BORN
Rasheedat Ajibade
We had Mercy Akide-Udoh. We had Perpetua Nkwocha-Nwufoh and we still have Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie...but a new star is born.
She is Rasheedat Ajibade now famously known as "Rash Attack". Super Falcons may not have won the ongoing WAFCON in Morocco but Ajibade made a mark as she announced herself at the big stage. It was her tournament.
She was outstanding among the girls. Not even the red card dim this shinning star. She carried the team's attack on her shoulders and feet from the beginning of the tournament till the referee took her out in the semis against the host.
But before she left the pitch she had already left a reminder. The reminder that she is good enough to step into the shoes left behind by Akide-Udoh, Nkwocha-Nwufoh and even when Oshoala quits.
