NHL Roundup: Senators Dominate Tkachuk Return, Flyers Keep Rolling
After a rough start to the season, Dan Vladar has allowed just four goals in three starts as the Flyers beat the Sabres 3-1 to extend their winning streak.
Vladar shines again as Flyers beat Sabres for third straight win...
Florida Panthers forward Brady Tkachuk was met with boos and heckles on his return to Ottawa following his trade.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Flyers are beginning to turn things around.
Senators Dominate Panthers In Tkachuk Return
Ottawa Senators fans made sure their former captain heard it on his first game back. Tkachuk had called Ottawa a “special place” ahead of the contest, but supporters did not take kindly to the forward after he initially said he wanted to stay long-term before reversing course and asking to play for a contender, despite the Senators making the Stanley Cup Playoffs last season.
“Brady sucks!” chants rang out before puck drop, and fans even threw their Tkachuk jerseys onto the ice as Canadian Tire Centre stayed loud all night.
However, Tkachuk had the first laugh after putting the Panthers up 1-0 for his seventh goal of the season, assisted by his brother Matthew.

Four minutes later, Ottawa star Tim Stutzle sent the crowd into a frenzy with a goal of his own to make it 1-1. From there, it was all Ottawa.
Claude Giroux and Shane Pinto both scored in the second period to make it 3-1, before Warren Foegele and Stephen Halliday added short-handed goals in the third to put the game out of reach.
Ottawa outshot Florida in every period, finishing with 29 shots on goal to Florida's 18 as they improved to 7-3-0 on the season. The Senators converted one of nine power plays on Wednesday, while Florida finished 1-for-5.
Florida dropped to 5-3-2.

Flyers Continue Revival With Third Straight Victory
After starting the season 0-6-3 through their first nine games, the Philadelphia Flyers have now won three straight, scoring three goals in each victory.
Rookie Cole Knuble scored the first two goals of his NHL career, with Trevor Zegras adding the other for Philly, to lead them past the Buffalo Sabres. Flyers goalie Dan Vladar finished with 27 saves.
After a brutal start for Vladar, who gave up seven, three, then five goals in his first three starts, he has settled in and looked like himself from last year's Stanley Cup Playoffs. He has allowed just four goals in total over his past three starts, not allowing more than two in any of them.
This marks his second straight one-goal start as the Flyers continue to rebound.
Buffalo fell to 4-4-2, having now dropped back-to-back games.
