Three goals in six minutes rescue point for Nordsjaelland at Lyngby

Lyngby looked destined for victory on home soil as they led FC Nordsjaelland 3-0 with 20 minutes remaining, but the visitors staged a remarkable comeback on Sunday afternoon.

FC Nordsjaelland struck three times in six minutes, from the 71st to the 77th minute, to secure a 3-3 draw in the Superliga.

Drama peaked in stoppage time when Nicklas Rojkjaer missed a last-gasp penalty for the visitors. Lyngby had earlier appeared in total control after Simon Colyn opened the scoring in the 17th minute, with Gustav Fraulo and Frederik Gytkjaer adding goals in the 32nd and 61st minutes.

But the visitors were not ready to surrender and Justin Janssen sparked the turnaround for FC Nordsjaelland when he cut the deficit in the 71st minute. Runar Norheim and Malte Heyde then restored parity before Rojkjaer missed the chance to seal all three points in the dying seconds.

Lyngby's collapse leaves them bottom of the table, while FC Nordsjaelland sit fourth.

Silkeborg endured a nightmare start in Haderslev, conceding after just 13 seconds and then seeing a man sent off early to leave them up against it.

Sonderjyske quickly made their extra man count, overwhelming Silkeborg to secure a 4-0 victory on home soil.

The three points were vital for Sonderjyske as they battle to climb away from the bottom of the Superliga. For Silkeborg, it was their heaviest defeat of the season, leaving them outside the top six after 11 games.

The home fans in Haderslev could hardly have dreamed of a better start on Sunday. The game had barely kicked off when Sonderjyske surged towards the Silkeborg goal, with Osaze De Rosario playing in Dalton Wilkins to find the net after just 13 seconds.

It went from bad to worse for the visitors when Villads Westh was sent off after 18 minutes, and the home side made their numerical advantage count with further goals from Stefan Velkov, Mohamed Cherif and Teodor Haltvik to seal a comfortable win.
