Venus gets Cincinnati singles wild card as Williams Sisters reunite in doubles...

Serena Williams and Venus Williams will make their Cincinnati Open doubles debut this month after receiving a wild card on Monday. It marks their first time playing doubles together since 2022.

The sisters have won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles between them, including six at Wimbledon, and they also have three Olympic gold medals to their name.

Their last doubles match together came at the 2022 US Open, when they were beaten by the Czech pair of Lucie Hradecka and Linda Noskova.

Last month the sisters pulled out of the Wimbledon doubles after Serena, 44, picked up a knee injury.

Serena's much-hyped return to Grand Slam singles after a four-year break ended early at Wimbledon, with a first-round defeat to Australian teenager Maya Joint.

Venus, 46, has been given a singles wild card for the Cincinnati tournament, which runs from August 11th to 23rd.
