According to sources, the Russian elite anticipates that following his election triumph, President Vladimir Putin will reassign important government positions.

Authorities expect younger personnel to be brought in, possibly including heads of ministerial departments and deputy ministers, according to sources close to the administration.

Following the election, it is anticipated that senior government officials will either retire or be demoted.

Since 2020, Putin has not significantly altered the current administration.

It is also anticipated that there may be changes in significant state-owned enterprises, state energy goliaths, and in Russia's more than 80 regional governorships.

Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister, and Sergei Shoigu, the minister of defense, are likely to stay in their positions as a result of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Elvira Nabiullina, the governor of the central bank, and technocrat Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin are also anticipated to remain in their positions.
