Economic Hardship: NLC Announces National Protest Against Hardship

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has declared a two-day nationwide mass protest slated for February 27 and 28.

A two-day nationwide strike is scheduled for February 27 and 28, 2024, according to the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) leadership.

The protest was called in order to push demands related to the current suffering that Nigerians are facing, according to Joe Ajaero, the body's national president.

Furthermore, he charged that the administration of President Bola Tinubu was not doing enough to meet the demands of the people.

The statement was made by the head of the NLC at a press conference held at Labour House in Abuja.
