AFCON 2023: Super Eagles Beat Host Ivory Coast To Boost AFCON Credibility

Second in Group A, Nigeria Super Eagles defeated host Côte d'Ivoire 1-0

At the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Nigeria's Super Eagles defeated host nation Ivory Coast on Thursday evening.

The Olympic Stadium in Ebimpė hosted the match. In the first half, neither Nigeria nor Ivory Coast were able to score.
