Bishop Feyi Daniels Sentenced To Life In Prison For The Offence Of Rape [VIDEO]

The Lagos High Court has sentenced Bishop Feyiropo Daniels to life imprisonment for the offence of rape 

Feyi Daniels, the founder of “I Reign Christian Ministry,” was sentenced to a life in prison for “raping a church member” by an Ikeja court dealing with sexual offenses and domestic abuse.

The trial judge, Rahman Oshodi, on Friday, January 26, declared the cleric guilty of sexually assaulting and raping a female worshipper.

The state government of Lagos charged Daniels with rape, attempted rape, and sexual assault of members of his church.

He was charged with violating the sexual orientation of three members of his church both on the church property in Ikeja and at his Lekki home.

Led in evidence by Lagos State counsel, Mr Babajide Boye, she told the court that she was an assistant pastor of 1 Reign Christian Ministry founded by the bishop.

According to her, she knew the bishop on May 28, 2018, when her friend invited her to a church programme at Akungba-Akoko in Ondo State, where the cleric ministered.

She said after the programme which was tagged “Strictly Supernatural,” she became a member of the church and rose to the position of an assistant pastor.

She said that the bishop, whom she regarded as her spiritual father, raped her at his residence in Ikota Villa Estate, Lekki, Lagos State, on June 21, 2020.
