PSG Supporters Are Still Jeering Lionel Messi And Want Him To Leave

Paris Saint-Germain supporters' insistence that the Argentine must be replaced has continued to cause issues for veteran forward Lionel Messi.

The football legend was booed during his first game back after a two-week suspension, much to the delight of the crowd.

After going to Saudi Arabia earlier this month without telling anyone in charge, Messi was given a suspension by the club management.

However, his punishment was reduced after he begged for pardon, and the 35-year-old was able to play against AC Ajaccio on Saturday night.

But when his name was announced by the stadium speaker at Parc des Princes, the home crowd reacted angrily with boos and whistles.

However, as soon as Kylian Mbappe's name was announced, PSG fans erupted in loud applause.

The fans of the 2022 World Cup champion were also jeered whenever he touched the ball, especially in the early stages of the game.
