"I'm so happy for you..."

Thomas Partey, an Arsenal midfielder, has expressed his happiness for Jorginho, his new teammate.

For the remaining matches of the season, the Italy international will start in lieu of the Ghanaian international for Arsenal.

Partey asserts that Jorginho is the best player in practice and is deserving of the selection due to his outstanding performance.

In the games against Chelsea and Newcastle, which Arsenal easily won with Jorginho in charge of the midfield, he sat on the bench.

Even though Partey might stay on the sidelines when Brighton comes to town on Sunday, the Ghanaian international is happy for his teammate.

"For me, it is something that always happens. I have always had competition, which is good for me. I enjoy it," Partey told the Evening Standard.

"I am really happy for him (Jorginho) because for a couple of weeks, he was the best at training and then at the end, you see that in the game.

Partey had played a significant role for the Gunners club, who had made a surprise bid for the Premier League championship this season, up to the last few games.
