SERIA A: VICTOR OSIMHEN WON ITALY'S BEST FOREIGN ATHLETE

Victor Osimhen has won recognition as Italy's top foreign athlete.

Osimhen has led Napoli's assault for a first Scudetto in three decades with a scorching season.

The award was given to the forward by Aurelio De Laurentiis, president of Napoli.

This season, the 24-year-old has made 21 league appearances for the Partenopei and scored 19 goals.

Both the Serie A Player and Goal of the Month awards for January went to the Nigerian.

Also up for consideration is the striker for the Player of the Month award for January which he was nominated.
