CAF INSPECTION TEAM WILL VISIT NIGERIA AND THE BENIN REPUBLIC ON MARCH 31 FOR AFCON 2025
From March 31 and April 2, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will assess venues for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Nigeria and the Benin Republic.
Nigeria and their close-door neighbours, Benin Republic have put up a joint bid to co-host Africa's flagship soccer event.
The CAF team will examine stadiums, training facilities, hotels, and other crucial facilities to guarantee the competition runs smoothly.
South Africa, Zambia, Morocco, Algeria, and Algeria are the other nations that have submitted proposals to host the biennial tournament.
The competition was originally supposed to be held in Guinea, but that honor was revoked owing to inadequate and rapid preparations.
You may remember that in 2000, Nigeria and Ghana shared hosting duties for the AFCON.
