THE HOUSE OF REPS RECONSIDERED ITS POSITION ON 3 BILLS REJECTED DURING THE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT VOTING LAST WEEK

Within the next 4 weeks, the bills will come up again for voting.

The 3 bills are 

1. Citizenship (men married to Nigerian women can apply for Nigeria's citizenship). 

2. Indigene ship (women can become indigenes of their state of marriage after a specified period). 

3. 35% affirmative action for women in political party administration
