Como ended a three-match winless streak across all competitions with a 3-1 victory over Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Nicolo Fagioli should have put Fiorentina ahead after 10 minutes when he latched onto a flicked pass and burst into the box, beating his man before seeing his close-range effort deflected behind for a corner.
After that early scare, Como grew into the game and created three good openings, with Anastasios Douvikas seeing a point-blank header saved by David de Gea before Mattia Liberali fired wide on the rebound and Nico Paz was also denied by De Gea from close range.
Just after the half-hour mark, however, the visitors went ahead when Liberali's left-footed strike from inside the area beat De Gea and found the far corner.
Things got worse for the hosts four minutes later when Paz headed into the left corner, but they halved the deficit just before the break as Marin Pongracic smashed home from close range on the rebound.
Pongracic thought he had scored a second in four minutes to level for Fiorentina in first-half stoppage time, but after a lengthy VAR check the goal was ruled out for offside.
Fiorentina would have hoped to carry some momentum into the second half, but they found themselves two goals down for a second time 12 minutes after the restart.
Douvikas picked up the ball 25 yards from goal and went past Radu Dragusin to create space before firing a right-footed effort through the legs of the despairing De Gea.
The Greek striker has become something of an away-day specialist, with his last five league goals all coming on the road.

Fiorentina created a couple of chances late on, with Alieu Njie and Fagioli both testing Jean Butez, but unlike their visitors, they lacked a clinical edge as they slipped to back-to-back Serie A defeats.
Como have now won six of their last eight away league games, with Cesc Fabregas' side climbing into the top four, while Fiorentina drop to 19th after collecting fewer than five points from their opening seven Serie A matches for just the third time in the modern era.
