Flick considers De Jong in defence amid Barcelona injury crisis before PSG clash...
Hansi Flick is considering using fit-again Frenkie de Jong in defence ahead of Barcelona's Champions League clash with PSG.
Barcelona boss Flick may have to deploy midfielders in defence for the showdown against Paris Saint-Germain after the Dutch midfielder returned from injury.
The Catalans are facing a defensive crisis, with Eric Garcia and Jules Kounde both ruled out following the win over Sevilla.
"Tomorrow will be a good test for us to see where we stand. I want my team to play with confidence and courage, and to be united as a team. We’re playing against the best team in the world over the last two years, and tomorrow we have an opportunity to see what level we’re at." 🗣️ Hansi Flick

Gerard Martin is also a doubt after picking up foot discomfort, leaving Flick short of options at the back.
Despite the setbacks, the German tactician remains confident that Barcelona can still compete with the European champions.
“Frenkie de Jong can play, and Alex Campos is also with us. I am certain everything will go well. Perhaps we are not going through the best moment, but we have to accept that,” Flick told the media.
“I think tomorrow's game is a good test for us. I want our team to play with confidence, as a side that has won its last 11 matches does. We will be facing the best team in the world over the last two years, and this is an opportunity for us.”
