AIK Battle Back Twice To Earn Point Against Goteborg
AIK twice came from behind to hold IFK Goteborg to an entertaining 2-2 draw in Solna, ending the visitors' five-match winning run in the Allsvenskan.
Draw in Solna halts Goteborg winning streak as AIK wait for victory goes on...
While it did not produce half as many goals as AIK's home fixture in the previous round, the contest was still an entertaining affair, as the Solna outfit were held to a 2-2 draw by IFK Goteborg.

AIK fought back from 5-1 down to make it 5-5, only to lose 6-5 with the final kick of the game at home to Brommapojkarna last time out, so they would have settled for a point on this occasion, even though their winless streak now stretches to six matches. Goteborg, meanwhile, will not have been satisfied with a draw, having arrived for this fixture on the back of five successive league victories.
Perhaps the most surprising aspect of the game against the Bromma Boys was that not a single goal was scored in the first half, so supporters of both teams were left pondering how many more would come after Nino Zugelj put Goteborg ahead in the 27th minute, curling past the goalkeeper following excellent hold-up play under pressure from Alexander Simmelhack.

The home side drew level inside the final 10 minutes of the first half, as Wilmer Olofsson flicked a corner into the air before it fell kindly for Diogo Tomas, who guided a header towards goal.
With just over 20 minutes remaining, Simmelhack went from provider to goalscorer to restore Blavitt's advantage, using his body well to connect with Felix Eriksson's cross and directing a firm header perfectly out of Kristoffer Nordfeldt's reach.
However, AIK hit back to equalise once more - with 15 minutes left, a fine move to slice open the Goteborg defence saw Johan Hove thread the ball through to Axel Kouame, whose powerful finish left the goalkeeper with no chance.

With no late drama on this occasion, Goteborg remain seventh, seven points adrift of the European places, while AIK stay ninth, safe in the knowledge their position cannot worsen during the remainder of the round.
