England bowler Brydon Carse is under investigation by the ECB following an incident in Derby on Saturday night, the board confirmed on Sunday.

“We are aware of a reported incident in Derby last night and an investigation is underway,” an ECB spokesperson said.

Footage shared online appears to show the Durham seamer in handcuffs as police escorted him out of a nightclub.

Carse is in England’s squad for the second Test against Pakistan at Lord’s next week. He was not used in the first Test at Headingley.
