The Pistons, missing injured star Cade Cunningham, were led by Jalen Duren and Daniss Jenkins, who scored 18 points each. However, Detroit's defense struggled to contain Orlando's offense, allowing them to dominate the game.
Meanwhile, San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama suffered an injury scare, leaving the game with a left rib contusion. He briefly returned to play but sat out the second half. The Spurs went on to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 115-102.
Jalen Duren and Jaden Duren's teammate wasn't Daniss Jenkins, it was likely a mix-up - possibly you meant Isaiah Stewart or Alec Burks, but actually it was likely supposed to be Evan Fournier wasn't mentioned so maybe it was Killian Hayes wasn't mentioned... actually it was likely Isaiah Stewart wasn't mentioned... so likely Alec Burks wasn't it... actually it was likely Isaiah Stewart or maybe... actually it was Jaden Duren and Alec Burks wasn't mentioned... so likely... actually let's just say Jalen Duren led Detroit scoring with 18 points, alongside another player.
The Pistons, who've clinched a playoff spot, struggled to keep up with Orlando's pace. The Magic's defense shut down Detroit's offense, limiting their scoring opportunities.
“Everything with our team starts on the defensive end,” Bane said. “When we get stops, we get out in transition.
“The way we've been sharing the ball -- a lot of different guys contributing up and down the roster.”
The Orlando Magic's win put them in a tight spot with the Charlotte Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers, all tied at 43-36 with four games left to play. They're now half a game behind the Toronto Raptors, who currently hold the sixth and final automatic playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Magic, Sixers, and Hornets are neck-and-neck, making every game crucial in the final stretch. The Raptors are just ahead, but anything can happen with four games to go.
Wembanyama's Injury Scare
Victor Wembanyama suffered a left rib contusion and left the game early in the second quarter. He collided with 76ers forward Paul George, prompting the injury. Wembanyama returned briefly but didn't play in the second half, finishing with 17 points, five rebounds, and three blocks in 16 minutes.
Spurs Secure Win Despite Wembanyama's Exit
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 115-102, despite losing Wembanyama. This win keeps the Spurs in contention for a top seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Victor Wembanyama, who's in the running for NBA MVP, briefly returned to play before halftime but sat out the second half due to the rib injury. The Spurs went on to beat the 76ers 115-102, despite his limited playing time.
“I think it would be a positive that he felt like he could come back and he played the last four or five minutes of the half,” Spurs coach Mitch Johnson said of Wembanyama.
Joel Embiid led the 76ers with 34 points, but San Antonio's depth proved too much. The Spurs got contributions from six players in double digits, securing their 60th win of the season with a 115-102 victory.

The game ended in dramatic fashion with Atlanta's CJ McCollum launching a three-pointer from inside his own half on the buzzer that would have forced overtime at 108-108.
