Naira Increases And Trades At N736 To $1

On Thursday, the Naira appreciated against the dollar and traded at the official window for N736.62.

NAN reports that as compared to the N771.59 it swapped for the dollar on Wednesday, the local currency increased by 4.53%.

On Thursday, the open indicative rate reached a high of N774.74 to the dollar.

Prior to settling at N736.62, the spot currency rate reached a high of N799.90 to the dollar throughout the day's trading.

Throughout the course of the day's trade, the Naira fell as low as N700 to the dollar.

The investors and exporters window saw trades totaling $66.43 million on Thursday.

On Thursday, the Naira traded between N915 and N920 to $1 in the parallel market.
