Seun Kuti's residence is raided by police, who also take his wife's phone as evidence in various crimes

The popular artist Seun Kuti's home was raided by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday in an effort to find proof that would link him to a different crime.

Kuti's wife's cell phone was reportedly taken during the search by the security personnel who conducted the search.

Yaba Magistrate's Court on Tuesday gave Seun bail; this occurs just hours afterwards.

The troubled singer's home is located at Akin Osiyemi, off Allen Avenue in Ikeja, Lagos, however in a recent development, a trending video on social media caught the moment police officers searched the property.

In case you forgot, last week Kuti smacked a police officer on the 3rd Mainland Bridge, prompting an arrest order from Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector General of Police.
