EPL: Three Chelsea Players Will Not Return This Season

Ben Chilwell, a defender for Chelsea, is likely to miss the remainder of the campaign.

During their 3-1 victory against Bournemouth last Saturday, the left-back sustained a hamstring injury.

After the victory, Blues interim manager Frank Lampard said he might miss the team's final four Premier League games.

"With a hamstring at this stage of the season, you'd clearly be worried [that he may miss] the remaining games," Lampard said.

Lampard told reporters on Friday that Chilwell's situation is "a similar story" to Reece James and Mason Mount, so it would appear that his concerns have come true.

James and Mount had already been excluded till the next year.

James suffered a hamstring injury in Chelsea's Champions League quarterfinal match against Real Madrid's second leg, and Mount is out after undergoing surgery for an abdominal issue.
