EPL: WENGER CONFIRMS ARSENAL'S TITLE ADVANTAGE AGAINST MANCHESTER CITY
Arsene Wenger, the former Arsenal manager, claimed he observed symptoms of exhaustion in Manchester City during the last parts of Wednesday night's Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
City advanced to the final four after a hard-fought 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena, with a 4-1 aggregate victory.
Pep Guardiola's men will face Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Saturday as they continue their quest for the Treble this season.
The Premier League champions will then host Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium the following Wednesday in what has been touted as the title decider.
Wenger said to beIN Sport: "Like Guardiola said tonight City is tired.
"I felt really they finished tired in the last 10 or 15 minutes (against Bayern) and maybe Arsenal can take advantage of that because Arsenal plays nothing else, just the championship and they play on Friday night after they have five days to prepare for this game.
"Physically they could have an advantage and surprise City, that's what I hope of course, but let's see."
