PRESIDENT BUHARI AND VICE PRESIDENT OSINBAJO WILL SPEND N11.92 BILLION ON TRAVEL

The President's and Vice-offices President's will spend N11.92 billion on domestic and foreign trips, as well as the presidential air fleet.

This was revealed in the 2023 Appropriation Bill, which President Muhammadu Buhari presented to the joint session of the National National Assembly in Abuja on Friday, October 7.

According to reports, the sum also includes N1.58 billion for aircraft maintenance and N1.60 billion for the overhaul of the Gulfstream GV and CL605 aircraft engines.

The appropriation bill also allocated N2.49 billion to the President's Office for local and foreign trips, while the Vice-Office President's will spend N846.61 million on the same item.

Meanwhile, members of the National Assembly will receive N100 billion for constituency projects that have been characterized by corruption, according to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
