GOV. UGWUANYI WISHES MUSLIMS A HAPPY EID-EL-MAULUD


As Muslims commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has urged Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of peace, love, unity, patience, tolerance, and perseverance reflective of the Prophet's cherished virtues.

Gov. Ugwuanyi conveyed the felicitations of the government and the good people of Enugu State to the Muslim faithful in his goodwill message.

The governor, who prayed to God to shower His unending blessings on Muslims and all Nigerians, emphasized that the significance of the occasion is compelling and relevant to the promotion and sustainability of the nation's founding fathers' core values, namely progress, unity, and peaceful coexistence of Nigerians.

As a result, Gov. Ugwuanyi urged the Muslim faithful to use the occasion to pray for a peaceful and successful general election in the country in 2023.

"May this milestone celebration bring us all the peace, hope and fulfillment our country needs to forge ahead," the governor said this while wishing all Muslims a joyous holiday and all Nigerians a happy holiday.
