14,000 ADVISORS HAVE BEEN CHOSEN BY GOVERNOR WIKE

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has chosen 14,000 advisers for the state's various political organizations.

The governor's spokesperson, Kelvin Ebiri, said in a statement that the advisers will be crucial to the administration.

"In addition to the 14,000 advisers, Governor Wike has also appointed 314 Ward Liaison Officers and 40 Local Government Area Liaison Officers," Mr Ebiri said.

"The appointments are with immediate effect."

His eight-year term ends in May 2023, Governor Wike is anticipated to hand the state over to a new leader.
