The Houston Rockets locked up Tari Eason on Thursday with a five-year, $81.5 million contract that is fully guaranteed.

Eason, 25, agreed to the extension as a restricted free agent. Houston originally took him 17th overall in the 2022 draft, and now the forward is set to enter his fifth season with the Rockets - and a much bigger paycheck.
The DC native is coming off a year where he put up 10.5 points on 41% shooting, including 35% from three, plus 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
The Rockets have romped to victory over the Lakers and in doing so have avoided the clean sweep.
