According to NHK and Kyodo News, Abe allegedly grabbed his 18-year-old daughter and forced her to the floor at their home in central Tokyo on Monday evening. The reports cited unnamed police sources.
The Yomiuri Giants are Japan’s oldest baseball team and widely seen as its most popular. They are often compared to the New York Yankees.
