Thomas Frank Confirms Rico Henry's Return to Brentford Starting Lineup

Brentford defender Rico Henry is set to return to action after a 16-month injury layoff, starting against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup.

Brentford defender Rico Henry is set to make his long-awaited return to action after a 16-month layoff due to a serious knee injury. The 27-year-old left-back will feature in the squad for Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie against Plymouth Argyle.

Henry's return is a significant boost for Brentford, with manager Thomas Frank confirming that the defender will start against Championship strugglers Plymouth. “Rico will be involved in the game tomorrow; not only will he be involved, he will start,” Frank told reporters.

Frank expressed his confidence in Henry's readiness to return to competitive action. “That's a big boost for him, us and the fans. He has been good in training; very aggressive as he always is. He played an in-house game and also a friendly with the B team,” Frank said. “In general, he's looked good and ready to start. If he wasn't good enough, we wouldn't start him.”
